An ongoing web design service with minimal friction.

Hello. I’m Ryan and I'm a web admin / web designer based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Since 2022, I operate through my federally incorporated business, orryan Inc.

The biggest challenge businesses face when looking for the "right website guy" to work with is not whether he can do the job, but rather how exactly everyone is going to work together.

So instead of showing you my portfolio right away, let me walk you through my operations.

Just before that, here’s a quick overview of my professional background. Organizations I have previously worked for include Shopify, International Society for Cell & Gene Therapy, and Faculty of Medicine at The University of British Columbia [link to my LinkedIn profile]. Some of my technical skills include HTML, CSS, Shopify Liquid, Adobe InDesign.

We might work well together if:

  • Your business needs a formal and corporate touch—this is my design style, and there is more synergy in what we can achieve together if your business is in sectors that require it (e.g. healthcare, academia, law, finance).

  • Your business already has an existing website. In general, I do not develop new branding to create new websites from scratch—my focus is on improving an existing website you have, take it further and maintain it for you on an ongoing basis if needed.

How we’ll work together if you decide to move forward:

  1. I will meet up with you in person or online (preferably in person, if you are in the Metro Vancouver area) to understand what exactly your business needs in terms of websites or graphics, and how they help your audiences and customers.

  2. We will work together on a subscription basis, either every two weeks or every month. Cancel anytime.

  3. Requests will be delivered one by one every 2–3 business days on average.
Examples of a single request: Creating a layout for one webpage, setting up a staff webpage with 10–20 employee photos and credentials.

  4. Minor revisions will be actioned every 1 business day on average, alongside other requests, as long as the subscription is active.
Examples of minor revisions: Updating texts or graphics on a previously-completed webpage.

  5. To submit requests, send them via email, or a short screen/audio recording with Loom, Zoom, or any other tool of your choice if necessary. Aside from the initial consultation, I do not offer on-demand meetings as part of the service.

Let's get started.

Current expected availability for 1–2 new clients: September 2025
