Black Monday or Green Monday?

People on the internet sometimes seem to freak out when the market is down by a few %. I used to think this was ridiculous, but now I don’t know if it’s some sort of collective strategy to psychologically negotiate against the market or whatnot. It’s like if people simulate a freak-out over a small dip, people pile into the market as they collectively believe the dip is really an opportunity, and the market reverses back up.

Based on calls for Black Mondays throughout 2026 so far that ended up as Green Mondays or nothingburgers, short-term investors might wanna watch the Tuesdays after. The dips usually happen then 👀 Long-term investors can continue to chill, I guess.
