Don’t fall for GEO grifts.
If I see someone trying to sell “GEO / AEO / AIO / AI SEO” services one more time, I will call the police.
It is not a thing.
AI optimizes things for us, not the other way around.
Whoever is arrogant enough to think they can “optimize” things for AI and then charge for those “services” are grifters. There is no real value there.
These services often market themselves using whatever universology dissectionology terminologies to make things more complicated than it seems—I hope businesses don’t fall for it.
One thing to remember:
AI algorithm changes all the time.
There is no point overoptimizing for an algorithm that may change three weeks from now. That would be a waste of time and money.
Businesses should focus on marketing (including creating good content) and public relations. SEO and “GEO” will take care of itself from there.
I repeat:
Businesses are better off investing in marketing + public relations.
The social buzz generated by a marketing / PR campaign is a more durable signal to any search engines compared to any overoptimization for an algorithm that changes all the time.
